General Teaching Objectives

The Chair’s objective is to give students a high-quality education based on three main principles: theory, business relevance, and empirical evidence. Our teaching allows students to acquire general knowledge in a variety of topics, to develop skills to apply theoretical frameworks to practice, and to draw practical implications from scientific work. The Chair implements empirical evidence-based approaches that enable students to further examine topics in areas of HRM and Asian business based on empirical studies and research methods. Furthermore, our teaching covers current topics and case studies, and also provides opportunities for the students to engage in cooperative projects with companies. For those students who are interested in research careers, opportunities for participation in ongoing research projects will be provided.
