The Faculty
The Göttingen Faculty of Chemistry has a long tradition dating back to the founding years of Georg-August University. The CVs of numerous Nobel Prize winners are associated with the faculty. Cutting-edge research on socially highly relevant topics in interdisciplinary alliances and as individual research projects characterizes the scientific work and makes studying at the faculty particularly attractive.

In the research areas of "Functional Biomolecular Chemistry," "Sustainable Synthetic Chemistry," and "Analytical Methods for Molecular Interaction," the expertise of faculty members from different areas of chemistry meshes. Internships in the research departments and large-scale equipment for teaching allow exciting insights into research already during the studies.
