Research interests
I am interested in plant responses to the environment, including both abiotic and biotic factors. By exploring the physiological and genetic basis allowing plants to respond and adapt, I seek to contribute to a better understanding of plants’ metabolism and creating strategies that may be useful for bioengineering or conservation purposes.
I have worked with carbon concentrating mechanisms and photosynthesis in a drought stress context during my PhD, but also with plant histology and anatomy in a phylogenetic context as an undergraduate.
