Personal Details

In addition to his first state examination in law at the OLG Hamm (1961), Prof. Treis successfully completed his studies in business administration at the University of Munich in 1966. In 1996 Hr. Treis received his doctorate in 1996 on the subject of "The procurement of agricultural products". From 1974 to 2003 he was Professor of General Business Administration, Marketing and Commerce at the University of Göttingen.

In addition to trade, marketing and competition law, his research focuses on the use of business simulations and planning games. His research also focuses on environmental and quality management in trading and service companies.
