Equipment

The equipment includes two Bruker D8 Venture 4-circle diffractometers, each with two sources (IµS 2.0 Cu/Mo and IµS 3.0 Ag/Mo) and Photon III detectors. An Oxford Cryosystems Cryostream 800 for measurements between 80 and 400 K is installed in both diffractometers.



A Nikon SMZ1270 stereo microscope is available for sample preparation and mounting. The X-Temp 2^[1] system can also be used for substances that are sensitive to temperature, air or moisture, with which the sample carrier is kept in a cold stream of inert gas.
