Personal details
Between 2004 and 2007, Philipp Spreer graduated from Kiel University of Applied Sciences with a B.A. and passed study visits in Lyon (France) and Jelgava (Latvia). He completed his master's degree in "Marketing and Distribution Management" at the Georg-August-University Göttingen in 2010. During this time, Philipp was employed as a student assistant at the Chair of Retailing. During his studies he completed several internships and research projects at L'Oréal, Ferrero, Henkel and YouGov Psychonomics.
His doctoral graduation, completed in May 2016, examines the acceptance of interactive technologies in retail from a customer and seller perspective (for details see publication list). Philipp is a scholarship holder of the Rid Foundation, which is committed to promoting the Bavarian retail industry.
Since the beginning of 2011 he has been employed as a management consultant at elaboratum, where he focuses on growth concepts in e-commerce, usability and behavioral economics in the digital context. In parallel, he was a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Munich, the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University and the Georg-August-University Göttingen. In August 2018 his book "PsyConversion. 101 Behavior Patterns for a Better User Experience and a Higher Conversion Rate in E-Commerce" was published by SpringerGabler-Verlag.
