In the winter semester 2024/ 2025, Dr. Daniel Brauer offers the lecture Medical Law II. The course is part of specialization area 3 (Civil Law and civil administration of justice), specialization area 8 (Medical Law) and an elective module or compulsory elective module for Bachelor's/Master's degree courses. It focuses on medical liability, statutory health insurance law and medical professional law, in particular professional licensing and practice. In addition, the contractual relationships in medical treatments and medical billing for self-paying patients are discussed.
Time and place:
The course will take place as a block course in the procedural law library (JUR 1.123) all day (from 8.15 a.m.) on 14th November 2024, 15th November 2024 and 31st January 2025. As part of the course, you will have the opportunity to provide a preparatory examination in accordance with § 4a (3) sentence 1 NJAG. You will receive further information on 14 November 2024 during the lecture. If required, the pro-seminar paper will be handed out on 15 November 2024. The processing time ends on 23 December 2024 (12:00 noon).
