Colombia
Colombia is located in the north of South America. Its natural beauty is diverse: high mountain ranges, tropical rainforests and beaches. Colombia is also known for its rich cultural history as well as its famous coffee. Politically, the country has been shaped by the peace process since the peace agreement of 2016, which many see as an important step in settling and coming to terms with the internal conflict. The University of Göttingen has a partnership with the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in the capital Bogotá.
