Research Projects

The profile of the Heisenberg position includes multimethod social research in the field of biography and discourse research, as well as visual sociology. The study of oral and visual memory practices comprises another focus. In teaching, the focus is on multimethod approaches and approaches in the area of mixed methods, both in terms of methodology and methods. The thematic focus is on the intergenerational effects of massive collective experiences of violence on biographies, families, discourses on the past, and collective memories.
