Short-term International Mentorship Programme (STIM)
The Short-term International Mentorship Programme – STIM includes short-term mentorships abroad between 2 weeks and 2 months. The mentorships are open to all female researchers (e.g. female doctoral students and postdocs) that are employed within a collaborative research project of the German Research Foundation. They offer the opportunity to gain valuable experience abroad at an early stage of their careers and to connect with an internationally renowned personality as a mentor. Mentees will be able to make new contacts and expand their international network in order to optimally prepare themselves for their later career path. Usually the mentoring relationship will continue well beyond the initial stay, so that the mentees can continuously benefit from their mentors' wealth of experience as an established researcher.
Please contact the coordinator or the spokesperson of your DFG programme if you are interested.
