in Modern Quantum Physics" is a doctoral programme funded by the DFG. It was first set up in 2008 and successfully went into its second funding period in 2012. more

Based on the investigation of mathematical structures that arise in quantum physics and applications in quantum field theory, the training group studies also purely mathematical questions concerning these structures in areas such as noncommutative geometry, analysis and representation theory, topology and algebraic geometry.
