The group was founded in April 2023 and we are intensively working at the interface of main group and early transition metal chemistry with synthesis in its heart and a strong focus on unusual electronic structures, small molecule activation, ligand design and homogeneous catalysis.

Applications are more than welcome and multiple positions at all levels are available (B.Sc / M.Sc. theses, research internships and PhD positions) which are just waiting to be filled.

Start benefitting from a small enthusiastic research group (direct supervision, daily discussion of results, etc.) and learn a toolbox of inorganic and organic synthetic techniques under inert conditions, multiple methods for characterizing your newly synthesized compounds (NMR, SCXRD, CV, EPR, IR, quantum chemical calculations, …) and use this knowledge to enter previously unknown territories in molecular main group and metalorganic chemistry!
