Workshop: BENCh goes Berlin 2022
„BENCh goes Berlin“ was the first workshop of the BENCh Meetings for exchange, experience and training (BenchMeet) which took place in Berlin gently hosted by the Fritz-Haber-Institute of the Max Planck Society in the magnificent and historical Haber Villa from 24th - 27th October 2022. The theme of the meeting was centered around cutting edge experiments with a focus on unique experimental setups, recent discoveries and experiment-experiment benchmarks presented in thrilling talks. In addition, lively and fruitful discussion rounds forged exciting cooperation and explored the possibility and advantage of experiment-theory benchmarking. As part of the exchange and experience aspect plenty hands-on program points were included in the workshop program. Highlights included several lab excursions of the Fritz-Haber-Institute as well as the BESSY II Light Source of the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin and many networking opportunities.
