SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

The primary interest for me is to understand the functioning of the nervous system on different levels: processing of information, cell signalling and communication, intracellular transport. Disregulation of this complex network results in numerous pathologies. Some natural molecules, such as neurotoxins are good tools to investigate neuronal pathways and to develop the new approach in treatment of various human diseases.
