SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I personally find the nervous system very interesting. It is really fascinating to witness such complex organizations, interactions, and regulations in the nervous system in each level (epigenetics, molecular, circuit, and even cognitive level). I am seeking to gain new skills and understandings about neuroscience in this program. There are tremendous amounts of phenomena in nature, and being part of a team that tries to understand the nervous system with the help of many different angles such as neurophysiology, neuroepigenetics, and neurogenetics is my main goal. I would like to learn different techniques, which will widen my horizon for a better understanding of the nervous system.
