Restrictions CIP pool through Corona
Persons suffering from COVID-19 are generally not allowed to enter the university!
Access to the PC pool only with mouth-nose covering
No one should enter the University with cold symptoms, especially fever, sore throat, cough, and/or smell/taste disorder - even if the symptoms are mild.
Measures & hygiene concept:
Restricted access
The CIP-Pool is open for students of the WiWi & SoWi faculty under the following conditions:
If social factors prevent you from successfully participating in your current study routine (e.g., no room for individual use; no undisturbed study/work possible especially because of children in the household)
- If you do not have sufficient Internet stability at your place of residence
- If you do not have sufficient technical equipment
Use & distance rules
- It is mandatory to provide all contact details as well as the number of the computer workstation used. The collection is solely for contact tracing in case of infection. The recorded data will be deleted after 4 weeks retention period.
- Only the marked computer workstations assigned by the WiSo-RZ may be used.
- A distance of 1.5 m must be maintained.
This has top priority! A short-term shortfall of the minimum distance of 1.5 m when passing another person is acceptable if the persons involved wear a mouth nose protection. When passing in the back of a person, only the passing person must wear a mouth nose protection .
Mouth nose protection
- The wearing of a mouth nose protection is required in all areas of the building "Blue Tower", e.g. in the corridors, staircase up to the way to the computer workstation.
- If the minimum distance cannot be safely maintained throughout, or in cases of doubt, an mouth nose protection must be worn.
- Plastic visors do not replace an mouth nose protection, but can serve as additional protection.
General rules of hygiene and conduct
- Contact surfaces such as tabletops or keyboards are unlikely to be a route of transmission. SARS-CoV2 is primarily transmitted via droplets. Risk of transmission through surface contamination is low with proper hand hygiene. Therefore, disinfection of surfaces is not necessary during normal University operations. The cleaning carried out by the building management is sufficient. Cleaning agents are available at the service counter if required.
- A hand sanitizer dispenser is installed at the entrance door to the CIP-Pool.
- Hand washing: regular hand washing with soap and water reduces the risk of infection.
- Observe cough and sneeze hygiene: sneeze or cough into the crook of the arm and turn away from other persons.
- Ventilation: Rooms are ventilated on a regular basis, and a room ventilation system is in place throughout the CIP-Pool.
