Module catalogues
The current taught courses at the Department of Musicology are listed in the database UniVZ. It also lists the module each course is attributed to. Our degree programmes are structured by recurring modules. These modules are filled each term with changing seminars. However, these courses are listed only few months in advance of each term. For long-term planning of your ERASMUS stay in Göttingen please consult the module catalogues and curricula. You can use the module titles for your first version of the Learning Agreement. You can later use the changed LA section to replace the generic modules with the actual taught seminars of your stay in Göttingen.
B.A. Musicology
For B.A. exchange students staying in Göttingen for 1 term, we have drawn together this module catalogue B.A. musicology for an overview of modules. Please chose only modules that comprise one term.
If you are staying for 2 terms in Göttingen, you may enroll in any regular module of the B.A. musicology. These are mostly 2-term-modules comprising 2 taught courses. You can find the B.A.-modules in the module catalogue on this website (section "Modulverzeichnis", chose the newest version).
M.A. Cultural musicology
Refer to the module catalogue MA cultural musicology for an overview of the modules.
More detailed descriptions of the modules may be found in the module handbooks. (section "Modulverzeichnis zur Prüfungs- und Studienordnung", chose the newest version).
We recommend you sending your Learning Agreement prior to the application deadline to check for mistakes in your course choices. Please write to the Erasmus coordinator Andreas Waczkat at an early time.
PLEASE NOTE that all of our courses are taught in German!
