SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested to understand the interplay between molecular pathways and whole organ systems, especially the relatively unknown and most fascinating organ, the brain. This also includes the molecular signal processing from signal input to output and how bottom line pathways can be modulated in healthy and are altered in disease conditions. Therefore, my fields of interest are neurophysiology, neuroanatomy, neuroendocrinology, and neuropharmacology.
