Karl Müller-Bahlke
Karl Müller-Bahlke completed his MA in “Arbeit in Betrieb und Gesellschaft“ at the University of Göttingen. His Master thesis examines colonial labor management in Bombay in the 1920s and the attempts of the ‘Bombay Labour Gazette’ to quantify social relations in the cities labor force. His current research focuses on West-German industrial capital in post-independence India, especially in the Rourkela steel-plant.
Karl Müller-Bahlke is part of the DFG-funded project “Das Moderne Indien in deutschen Archiven, 1706-1989”
