Dashwood, Bennet and Co: Celebrating the 2017 Jane Austen Bicentenary

This year marks the bicentenary of Jane Austen's death who died July 18, 1817. In honour of her great novels, the English Literature and Cultural Studies division is organising a number of events that will take place throughout the summer semester. We will have several guest lectures, an improvised theatre performance, film screenings and a student conference to look at what makes Jane Austen 'immortal' - and you are welcome to add your two cents to the discussion!
