Thomas Finkbeiner

Before I came to Göttingen, I was a lecturer for special tasks in the education of sign language interpreters at the University of Magdeburg for four years. Some of my tasks were: preparation, realization and evaluation of exams. My cooperation in European projects such as SIGN TEACH and EUMASLI have improved my competence in the practical part of lectures in German and International Sign Language. In addition to my job, I finished a continuing education as deaf sign language interpreter at the University of Hamburg and passed the state examination in 2018. Since October 2017, I am a member of the sign language team at the Georg-August-University in Göttingen and offer classes on German Sign Language.
