Dr. Róbert Arató

As a geologist, my aim is to approach geological problems from various perspectives. I like combining fieldwork with experiments and laboratory measurements, and evaluate geological data based on mathematical principles. At the Department of Sedimentology and Environmental Geology in Göttingen I am a Marie-Curie Fellow with a research focus on automated fission-track analysis. In this project I try to develop an approach for automated track detection with the help of image analysis and artificial intelligence under the supervision of Dr. Keno Lünsdorf.
