Caspar Baumeister (21 years old)

Caspar had already planned to participate in the Vis Moot at the beginning of his law studies in Göttingen in winter 2014/15. In his second semester, he began work as student research assistant at the professorial chair from Professor Münch who is in charge of the Moot team at Göttingen. For Casper, the international aspects of the law are of great importance, especially given the ongoing influences of globalisation.

The opportunity to improve his professional English skills and rhetoric were further motivation for Caspar's participation in the Moot. He embraces the challenges of working practically and taking responsibility in a team in yet to discover legal areas. Caspar is certain that the unique opportunities of the Moot are going to be a memorable experience in his studies. Besides his academic activities he plays tennis at the local tennis club and enjoys taking care of hunting grounds at home.
