Adam Walker studied at the Leeds Metropolitan University and the University of Leeds "Arabic Studies" (BA) and "Law" (Postgraduate Diploma), as well as "Arabic Language" at the University of Suez Canal, Egypt.

His research interest are Hadith-Studies, in particular the so-called Isnad-cum-Matn-Analyse.

He has been working as a research assistant in the Junior Research Group 3 "Revelation, Reason, and Identity. Education in Early and Classical Islam" at the Courant Research Centre EDRIS since October 2014.
