Research

My current research focuses on rurbanity mapping, participating in the sub-project C01 “RurbanGeography: Towards a global geography of rurbanity - developing a set of indicators to map and monitor rurban spaces”, under the project “Sustainable Rurbanity - Resources, Society, and Regulatory Systems”. We will use data from statistics, earth observation, and surveys to characterize the rurbanity, and produce maps for spatial visualization and monitoring.
