The CHE University Ranking incorporates facts on study programmes, teaching, facilities and research as well as results from surveys of students and professors at the respective university. Furthermore, there is no definitive ranking of the participating universities; instead, the CHE categorises them into three groups (top, middle and bottom group) according to indicators and criteria it has created itself. Students rate the study situation on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.
In total, CHE 2023 analysed the subjects of business administration, economics, business informatics and industrial engineering at universities and universities of applied sciences/universities of applied sciences as well as the subject of economics at universities. According to the CHE, with around 120,000 students surveyed, the university ranking is the most comprehensive and detailed comparison of universities in the German-speaking world. The results of the Master's ranking are now available online at www.heystudium.de/masterranking (in German) and excerpts are also published in the current issue of ZEIT CAMPUS.
