Maria Sekulova
Maria has been studying law at the Georg-August-University Göttingen since the winter semester 2020/21. She comes from Bulgaria, where she learned German and English at a foreign language high school.
Due to her lively interest in foreign languages, she has completed a two-subject Bachelor's degree in English philology and Scandinavian studies at the University of Göttingen. During this period, her English and German language skills reached native fluency. Additionally, she knows Swedish and Danish, which she also learned during her Bachelor's, and has a basic knowledge of Russian. Maria sees the Willem C. Vis Moot as an opportunity to gain practical insights into both international sales law and arbitration law. She is particularly looking forward to working in a highly motivated team, improving her legal argumentation and negotiation skills and is eager to put her language skills into practice.
In her free time, she is enthusiastic about linguistics, cultural and literary studies and enjoys strength and endurance training.
