SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

The complexity and perfect coordination of the nervous system's parts amaze me. I would like to focus on the molecular and cellular interactions that take place in a malfunctioning or damaged brain. Also, I would be interested to gain knowledge on the way neural circuits are structured and understand how they work.
