SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I regard neuroscience and psychology as the different levels of studying human brain, the structure level and function level, somehow like the hardware and software of a computer. For studying the structure could further help understanding and maybe improving the function, currently I am interested in the molecular mechanism behind learning and memory, and how the nervous system evolve and develop in mammal. Additionally, I try to focus on mechanism of neurogenesis, related to find cures for neurodegenerative diseases.
