SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I always wonder how experiences effect our mental status: Do they induce any other biological factors that would cause anxiety disorders, depression and bipolar disorder? Also are there any possibilities for us to cure age-related neurodegenerative diseases? Since epigenetics has become a new area in biology, I would like to know what is the role that epigenetics plays in psychiatric diseases and neuronal regeneration.
