SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

The functions of the brain fascinate me a lot. My interest is to thus understand the underlying processes involved in the normal functioning of the brain. I am particularly interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration and how this knowledge can be applied in various interventions aimed at treating or managing neurodegenerative diseases.
