International Summer Academy 2011
The IGK Work and Human Lifecycle in Global History (Humboldt University Berlin), the Centre for Modern Indian Studies (University of Göttingen) and the V. V. Giri National Labour Institute (NOIDA / Delhi, India) in cooperation with the Association of Indian Labour Historians held an international Summer Academy exploring the historical and contemporary meanings of work in relation to life course in different socio-economic and cultural contexts. The Summer Academy was open to doctoral students working in the field of labour from historical and social science perspectives.
