Bachelorabschlussarbeiten
At the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, bachelor thesis positions in the field of marketing are awarded through a standardised procedure in which the Chair of Marketing and Commerce Management, the Chair of Marketing and Innovation Management and the Chair of Marketing and Consumer Behaviour all participate. As part of this procedure, you do not apply exclusively for a bachelor's thesis position at one of the professorships mentioned, but at all of them. The selection procedure has fixed deadlines for the completion of the bachelor thesis and for the registration for the selection procedure. These are shown in the following table:

Sufficient supporting documents:
- Latest grade printout from the Examination Office
- Certificate of attendance of the course "Scientific Work" (if available)
Please note that at the time of application, applicants must have completed the compulsory marketing course and a bachelor seminar. You must also have completed at least one specialisation in business administration at the Marketing Faculty of the University of Göttingen. These are listed below:

Applications received after the deadline or incomplete applications cannot be considered in the selection process for bachelor thesis positions at the University of Göttingen's Chairs of Business Administration and Marketing.
You will be informed of the outcome of the procedure and the next steps within a week of the closing date for applications. We kindly ask you to refrain from inquiries regarding the current status of the application process. If, after submitting your application, you decide to apply for another bachelor's thesis position, we kindly ask you to inform the secretaries of the business administration marketing chairs immediately of your decision, out of consideration for your fellow students who are interested in writing a bachelor's thesis in marketing. Please note that your claim to a bachelor thesis at our chair only applies for the period requested.
