Your Erasmus+ semester abroad
Once you have been accepted for an Erasmus+ mobility and nominated for funding, you can find all the relevant information on how to organise and manage your Erasmus+ period abroad below or at our Running Slip.Before the stay
Online Learning Agreement (OLA):
- Contractually regulates the choice of courses at the host university
- 30 ECTS (+/-10%) must be taken at the host university
- At least 10 ECTS (compulsory semester abroad: 18 ECTS) must be passed
- When completing an OLA, please be guided by the Instructions OLA 3.0 and the slides of the current information event
Submit applications for recognition:
- Requests for recognition should be submitted for those modules that have not yet been recognised or for those modules whose recognition is outdated
- Fully signed OLA (3 signatures) is required

Grant Agreement:
- Funding contract between the EU Commission/funding agency and the project participants, in which the rights and obligations of the contracting parties are regulated.
- Will be sent by post after the information event by Göttingen International

Further preparations:
- Semester Leave of Absence
- Financing (Contact: Auslandsbafög- BAföG-Office of the Student Union)
- International insurance
- Finding accommodation (student residence eventually)
- Language courses (Language courses offered by ZESS)
Certificate of Arrival (CoA):
- To be signed by the partner university on arrival
- Displays the actual start date (Orientation/First Lecture)
- Please use the Template of the University of Göttingen
Revised Online Learning Agreement (revised OLA):
- Until 5 weeks after the start of the lectures at the host university, the OLA can be adjusted (a revised OLA can be created)
- Must also contain 30 ECTS (+/-10%)
- When completing an OLA, please use the Instructions OLA 3.0 and the slides of the current information event
Certificate of Stay (CoS):
- To be signed by the partner university on departure
- Shows the actual duration of a semester abroad (Last Exam/Lecture)
- Please use the Template of the University of Göttingen
Transcript of Records (ToR):
- A certificate of achievement issued by the host university
- Entry of grades in FlexNow (Contact: Examination Office)
- Grade conversion table and other important information can be found here
Field reports:
- A field report (questionnaire) must be completed in the MoveOn portal
- Free experience report to be sent by e-mail to Erasmus Tutors
