Information about the structure of the double degree programme with the University of Nanjing can be found below. Students from Göttingen spend the first and second semester at the University of Göttingen and the third and fourth semester at the Nanjing University Business School (NJUBS).
NJUBS students spend their first two semesters in China and their third and fourth semester in Göttingen. Afterwards they spend the fifth and sixth semester at NJUBS again to finish their three-year-degree.

Courses totalling at least 6 credits must be completed, according to the following regulations:
- a. Master's degree courses from the Faculty of Business and Economics with the ID: M.WIWI- can be taken, as long as the prerequisites are met.

- b. Foreign language courses at the University, in Chinese, can be taken as long as the courses were not already taken in previous studies.
- c. All not previously elected course offerings from the sections 2-5 can be recognised as electives.
- d. You can also study the following course: M.Inf.1825: Blockchain Technology, 6 Credits
- e. For the electives, instead of course offerings from letters a), b) and c), other courses can be taken per the following requirements. Prerequisites for the consideration of alternative courses are:
- a) A written request by the student, before the course is taken, to the Dean of Studies of the Faculty of Business and Economics;
- b) Approval by the Dean of Studies of the Faculty or teaching organizer of the alternative module.
The Dean of Studies of the Faculty of Business and Economics makes the final decision about the approval of the applications. Before the decision is made, the appropriateness of the course will include an opinion from the instructor of the course, which the student is registered for. The application can be denied without an explanation, and the student applicant does not have a legal claim to this matter. The consideration of a previously completed course cannot be considered.

- d) Master's degree courses from the University of Nanjing, as long as the prerequisites are met and free places in the courses are available. The University of Nanjing decides whether you can participate or not.
- e) Courses taught in Chinese might also be recognised (upon application), if the student has sufficient Chinese language skills. The University of Nanjing decides whether the courses can be recognised or not.
4. Master's Thesis (30 C)
The successful completion of a master's thesis will be awarded 30 credits. The master's thesis must be written in English.
