Review of ecosystem functions in oil palm plantations

I am coordinating the finalization of a comprehensive review of ecosystem functions in oil palm plantations. Ecosystem functions are the capacity of an ecosystem to provide ecosystem services, or benefits to humans. We contrast the ecosystem functions of oil palm plantations relative to that of native forest. The review summarizes data for the ecosystem functions listed in de Groot et al. 2002, with updates based on de Groot et al. 2010.
