Family area and study Saturdays

Children are very welcome in the Learning and Study Building!



The family area is spread across a number of rooms on the second floor. Room 2.129 is used as a games room. In room 2.130 (adjacent to room 2.129), you can change your children's nappies or nurse your children. Various single study rooms as well as a study room for a group of four people are available nearby. You can use these rooms upon filling in a one-time application. Within the next 24 hours, you will have access to these rooms and will be able to book a parent-child room through eCampus. Please contact the Information Desk on the day you wish to use the room you have booked. You will be handed a key to the games room as well as to the changing room. Also, please feel free to use both of these rooms if you have booked a regular study room.

Study Saturdays
In order to help students the balancing act between studying for (written) exams and everyday family life, we offer child care free of charge at the weekend. The children are being cared for by a qualified child carer of the Kindertagespflegebörse Göttingen.

When? Saturdays from 10:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Who? Children from the age of three months to ten years
