ZESS-IT (Computer Skills to Aid Research Work)

Computer skills are essential both in the academic and professional realm. At ZESS, all students of the University of Göttingen have the chance to attend computer courses to hone and develop their computer skills, which are offered both as regular courses during the semester as well as compact sessions. At the courses, students learn how to use computers more effectively. At the end of each course, students receive an acknowledgement of their acquired computer skills, thus serving to increase their career opportunities.

Students are also able to acquire credits in the field 'Transferable Skills'. Should further questions persist with regards to credits, students may approach the relevant spokesperson at the university assessment board.

All courses are held at the ZESS-IT Course Rooms on the ground floor of Blauer Turm (MZG 0.113a and 0.113b). Registration for the courses through FlexNow.
