Printing: Information about double-sided and multiple page printing

"Double-/Multipageprinting" with printers on the 5th, 6th and 7th floor

If more than one page per sheet shall be printed, you can make adjustments in the printer settings menu in the currently used program (MS Word, Adobe Reader,...). Therefore click on "Drucken"(print) or hit Strg(ctrl) + P to start the printing dialog:

Now you can select the options of your choice.

To print more than one page per sheet, click on "Mehrere" (multiple) [1] and select at "Seite pro Blatt" (pages per sheet) [2] the number of pages (2, 4, 6, 8...). If you select "Benutzerdefiniert" (user-defined), you can set the number and order of the pages manually (2x2, 3x2, 2x3,...).
The order when printing 2 (or more) pages per sheet can be changed in the setting "Seitenanordnung" (Page layout) [3].

To change the orientation of the paper (portrait / landscape) select the corresponding item in "Ausrichtung" (orientation) [5]. Be advised, that a portrait formated document will also be printed in portrait mode when selecting multi-page layout - equal applies to landscape formated documents. Not minding the page compatibility can result in an increase of the printing time up to 10 times!

If you want to print double-sided/ duplex, select the option "Papier beidseitig bedrucken" (print on both sides) [4].
