The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is the largest funding organisation for academic exchange in the world. More than 250 programmes for Germans and foreigners range from a semester abroad for young students to doctoral studies and research stays, from internships to guest lectureships, and from fact-finding missions to the establishment of higher education institutions abroad.
