Research
I am interested in root research. Besides the different methods of root research (profile wall, greenhouse and field experiments), my main focus belongs to the change in root growth when different crops or crops and weeds are growing together in a mixture. The Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy enables the differentiation of roots in the mixture. Additionally, for some species a separation of cultivars and proveniences could be achieved.Projects
