• Reformed Theological Academy of Sárospatak

The Reformed Theological Academy of Sárospatak is an independent institution for theological education and research of the Reformed Church of Hungary. It functions as a part of the Reformed College of Sárospatak and carries on the legacy of Hungarian theology which has developed over the past centuries and is built upon the foundation of the Bible and the spirit of the creeds of the Hungarian Reformed Church (the Heidelberg Catechism and the Second Helvetic Confessions). The main mission of the academy is to train ministers and church workers for the Reformed Church of Hungary. In order to ensure the quality of their education and training, the Academy maintains a high standard for its theological research. Furthermore, the Academy seeks to uphold the educational and spiritual values in its surrounding region. That is why it cooperates with various other educational and cultural institutions as well as church organizations. The Academy also operates internationally through relationships with other schools and institutes outside of Hungary.
