In February 2016, Globalfood members met for the Doctoral Seminar Retreat in Akademnie Waldschlösschen outside Göttingen. The doctoral researchers, the Postdocs, and several PIs took part in the event.
In February 2015, current and former members met for the Homecoming Workshop and for the Onsite Review. The doctoral researchers of the first cohort came back to visit us, and the doctoral students of the second cohort have organized the workshop. Also, all the PIs are on the picture.

In June 2013, nearly two years after the training program was founded, the "GlobalFood" team has grown further: 23 doctoral students and 1 postdoctoral reseacher are part of the group.
In April 2012, nearly one year after the training program was founded, GlobalFood has brought forward an international and interdisciplinary environment, which is committed to assess the far-reaching implications of our transforming global agri-food systems.
The picture below was taken at a symposium in May 2011, shortly after the RTG 1666 took up its work. Since then, our research group has expanded continuously and attracted the interest of doctoral researchers from many different parts of the world.
