Study program for Protestant Theology (pastoral ministry):
Protestant Theology - Magister Theologiae
- German language program
- Standard period of study: 10 semesters (plus 2 semesters for learning Latin, Greek and Hebrew)
- Magister degree (Mag.Theol.) or ecclesiastical examination
- Occupational goals: pastor; occupations within the church (e.g. adult education, media); academic teaching and research; occupations outside the church (e.g. human resources, consultancy, professional training, media, public relations, marketing, museums etc.)
Study programs for a teaching profession:
Protestant Religion B.A. (2 subjects)
- German language program
- 6 semesters Theology and Religious Education in addition to a second subject and classes in Educational Theory
- Combination with a second subject: German, English, French, Latin, Spanish or Mathematics
- The B.A. is requirement for admission to the Master of Education
Protestant Religion (Master of Education)
- German language program
- 4 semesters Theology and Religious Education in addition to a second subject and classes in Educational Theory

- Occupational goals: teaching profession for Gymnasium
- German language program
- 6 semesters (B.A.) plus 4 semesters (M.Ed.) Protestant Theology and Religious Education as a minor

- 4 semesters Intercultural Theology
- Additional qualification for church organisations as well as Christian based profit- and non-profit organizations

- Additional academic qualification for research and teaching at universities and extra-faculty research institutions
