SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

It is fascinating how our brain takes its sensory information from the outside world and transforms it into thoughts, ideas, initiatives, emotions, which lay at the very core of the human personality. I am interested in investigating the physiological and molecular basis of this process and how it is modulated by the interaction with the environment.
