SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My primary scientific interests lie in the field of ageing, in particular neurodegeneration, regeneration and cognitive decline with focus on dementia and Alzhimer´s disease. I am interested in molecular and cellular mechanisms behind these processes with the ultimate goal of working on the development of novel therapeutic approaches to treat such diseases and conditions.
