SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am most intrigued by brain plasticity, especially the mechanisms underlying learning. I’m also curious about the influence of early experiences in shaping the individuality of people in their learning ability. Could there already be long-lasting modifications at a young age that determine whether a person will excel in some subjects and struggle with others? Having studied molecular medicine, I want to tackle these questions by looking at molecular and cellular processes. Nevertheless, I am very eager to explore all other aspects of neurosciences.
