Mariia Paramei

Mariia is predoctoral fellow at the Chair of Development Economics / Centre for Modern Indian Studies. Her research deals with issues faced by children in low- and middle- income countries, with a particular focus on early marriage, child labour, and education. Mariia holds a Master's degree in Development Economics from the University of Göttingen, Germany, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Higher School of Economics, Russia. During her studies, she has organised various olympiads for high school students, such as International Economic Olympiad and was giving lectures in economics during summer schools for high school students.
