SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in the crosstalk between the endocrine, immune und nervous system. The study of these interactions can offer a much more complete explanation of most of the brain processes from molecular interactions to cognitive functions. On the other hand, I am also interested in the applications of biomedical enginnering to neurosciences, such as brain computer interfaces, neuroprostheses, and fuctional electrical stimulation systems.
