SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS
One of my main scientific interests is in studying neurodevelopment and investigating the complex signaling mechanisms contributing to neural circuit formation. Furthermore, I am more specifically interested in how what we learn from embryonic development can be used to understand the molecular basis of psychiatric disorders, as well as how it can be therapeutically applied in treatment of both neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders.
